Africa bears the brunt of the HIV/AIDS global epidemic. Over the last 24 years different strategies/interventions have been put in place but the epidemic continues to grow.
In keeping with the African proverb "Bend A Tree Whilst Still Green" there is need to pass the information to the children when they are still amenable to change.
According to the demographic data available, Kenya has a youthful population with the primary school going children, the secondary school pupils and the tertiary level students together adding up to a about one third (1/3rd) of the country's population. This category of the country's population forms a critical mass for behavioral change and the indoctrination of good value system through the entire societal fabric.
